Teaching and Mentoring
Fall 2023 I am teaching:
MATH 2250 - Calc I
Inquiry Based Learning
I am a proponent of IBL and active learning in general. I incorporate aspects of IBL into all of my teaching and am happy to talk about it.
I was an IBL fellow with the Center for Inquiry Based Learning at University of Michigan, and have attended several AMIIBL events.
During the summers I am often a Lead Instructor at MathILy and MathILy-Er, which are two fantastic, all-IBL, summer programs for high school students.
Undergraduate Research
In summer 2022 I ran the MathILy-EST REU at Bryn Mawr College. I had 10 students (pictured left) split between 3 projects in combinatorial representation theory.
The first paper from the summer is up! arXiv link
As a graduate student I also mentored projects through the RSI, PRIMES, and UROP programs at MIT.
